My cousin Tan is a natural born musician. He is actually working now as a singer in Bahrain with his band. He started his music career way back 15 years ago when we were still a teenager. I can still remember the times when he used some oil and paint cans as his drums set. He usually does that to practice his drumming skills. But because of constant practice, determination and patience, he was able to succeed on his endeavor and now he doesn’t use any cans as his drums but he is one proud owner of gretsch drums which he purchased online with the help of yours truly. Well, looks like his motto of try and try until you succeed really works on him.

“It’s snowing, it’s really damn cold but I want a ski!”, that’s what my brother told me when he called last night. He just loves the snow and skiing for that matter. Imagine buying a limited edition thule ski rack for his ski accessories last week. And boy it cost him a bunch. Though, he’s not complaining about his acquisition, he actually loves every bit of it. It was part of his plan to buy his very first thule this winter that’s why he did everything to acquire it.

My mom called me this morning and she was boasting me about the rustic bedroom furniture she purchased yesterday. Yup! She bought another bed frame again! For the record, she acquired 2 bed frames already. But I think this rustic purchase will be her last for this year. Why? Well, she confirmed it to me and told me that she fell deeply in love with the new bed frame. Lol! Well, I think that’s a good sign for the family, at least she won’t spend another dollar again for unnecessary wants. Lol!

I’m currently on search for yoga socks that my sister in law needs. Yup, you heard it right, my sister in law Gail is currently into yoga class lately. Since she came home from Canada, she immediately enrolled herself to a yoga and relaxation class that her longtime friend recommended. One of the reasons why she went home here was to distress herself from the pressures she got while working in Canada. That’s why she was asking my help if I can check on the internet and see for myself.

We got direct tv Sunday ticketa while back because my husband apparently really wanted to watch the Super Bowl this year. He’s a huge Giants fan and this was way before we knew they’d make it to the big game so now I’m really glad we did but there’s been a bit of an unexpected side effect in this whole thing. I have actually become obsessed with wedding showsin the last few months and I can’t tell anyone because it’s so embarrassing! We have a daughter who is only 4 but I’ve already started buying wedding magazines for her because I can’t get out of my head what it would be like to plan a dream wedding. My husband and I eloped so I never had the big wedding we’d been wanting but you know, at the end of the day I feel like if anyone knew I was doing this they would think I was crazy. It’s not okay to plan a fairytale wedding.
