Saying that I like to spice things up in the kitchen is really putting it mildly! I love to add all kinds of extra flavor to my food, whether it's with hot spices or just something to give a dish a little bit of extra flavor. I've only found a few spices in my life that I didn't like. Because of that all kinds of spice bottles are a constant presence in my cabinets and taking up too much room. So it's time to do something about it. I thought I would go online to look for some storage solutions before I started looking in stores and bought something that I'd regret buying later.

I was looking through some home blogs when I saw something about Sears Windows and showed it to my husband. Our windows have been so drafty this winter so we decided that it would be a great idea to get them replaced. Plus, they don't look too great anymore either.
I did find some pretty excellent spice racks and decided to go with one that we could install on the inside of one of our cabinets. That way I can see what I'm picking out and it's still hidden from view in our kitchen.

Almost done organizing and decorating our new house. I got a litle bit exhausted doing some errands. By the way I'm doing this decoration coz my inlaws are coming over on wednesday they arrived from PI for almost one month vacation and exactly that was my off that day. I'm so excited. Finally, I'm done seaching expandable foam for my MIL. Lastnight I had an amazing time with my little lad while watching mickey mouse one of my baby's favorite cartoons. Now, hubby is off to the airport to pick mom up from PI while me on the other hand is putting my son's stuff. My son make a big mess. I'll be right later fellas.

Great Mother's Day Gift Ideas

I’m currently on search for Mothers day gift ideas for my mom and mother in law. I think most of us know that Mother’s Day is just a couple of weeks away and with that it is just wise to search for a special kind of gift as early as now. Fortunately for me, my friend Noemi told me to check out the White Company. She gave me their website and told me that’s it’s a shopper’s haven. I got really intrigued with what she said that’s why I immediately check on their website. True enough she was telling the truth. The moment I opened their website a huge mid sale season greeted me. It’s an offer for further reductions up to 50% on selected linens. So perfect for Mother’s Day! And so timely for me, because my initial plan was to buy both of my “ moms” some soft and comfy linens for this Mother’s Day! Wow! Coincidence or what? Whatever it is I have a feeling a will get a great deal with this company. :)

My cousin from Alabama arrived yesterday for a short vacation here in our place. She was carrying a big luggage which is full of Alabama apparel that she constantly wears back at home. She also bought tons of University of Alabama shirts for us because we requested it from her. Lol!

Well, as based on her testimonies those shirts are really cool and comfy and they are a real hit in their school in Alabama. That’s why as a curious cousin, I asked her to bring or buy some for us when she gets home. Lol! She thought I was kidding but I immediately told her I was not. Surprisingly she believed me and gave me a bunch of imported Alabama that I can give away to my love ones and friends. Or better yet I could sell the shirts to them. Lol!

Well, I’m still thinking of what to do with the shirts but apparently I might keep them for myself for a while and maybe sell them as second hand. lol! Urgh! Honestly, I’m still confused with what to do with them. I think I would seek the advice of my husband first before I act on it. If ever I would sell them, I should keep my mouth shut or my cousin will find out what I did. Lol!

I was reading the Airtex in tank electric fuel pump article when I suddenly realized that my dad needs it. I remembered that he was asking me to check a tank electric fuel pump for his newly renovated establishment that he is currently open for lease.

That’s why after reading the article, I immediately browsed on the website and placed my order. Hopefully, the item I ordered is the item that my dad needs. Lol!

My sister came to visit last week and couldn’t believe the stockpile of non-perishables I had accumulated in my pantry. I told her I had begun doing as much of my shopping online to save time. To save more money, I buy in bulk. Unfortunately she lives out in the country so she doesn’t have internet access at her house even though her neighbor does. We got online and found wildblue deals for her area. She wrote down the number to give them a call. I hope she is able to get internet access. I’m sure being able to order the things she uses regularly will be even bigger savings for her. Gas is getting so expensive and she lives so far from everything. I told her to make sure to pay attention to the sites that offer free shipping too. That’s where you get the most savings! You can pay the same amount as you would in the store but not have to pay for the gas to get what you need!

I am patiently waiting for my pentair pool pumps to arrive for our swmimming pool. As I mentioned on my previous posted my son loves to swim. Anyway, my currently mood today is I'm soooo full now and I feel sleepy after my honey got up, made me a food and my favorite pasta. Thank you honey for making me food all the time. My cousin Tan is a natural born musician. He is actually working now as a singer in Bahrain with his band. He started his music career way back 15 years ago when we were still a teenager. I can still remember the times when he used some oil and paint cans as his drums set. He usually does that to practice his drumming skills. But because of constant practice, determination and patience, he was able to succeed on his endeavor and now he doesn’t use any cans as his drums but he is one proud owner of gretsch drums which he purchased online with the help of yours truly. Well, looks like his motto of try and try until you succeed really works on him.

“It’s snowing, it’s really damn cold but I want a ski!”, that’s what my brother told me when he called last night. He just loves the snow and skiing for that matter. Imagine buying a limited edition thule ski rack for his ski accessories last week. And boy it cost him a bunch. Though, he’s not complaining about his acquisition, he actually loves every bit of it. It was part of his plan to buy his very first thule this winter that’s why he did everything to acquire it.

My mom called me this morning and she was boasting me about the rustic bedroom furniture she purchased yesterday. Yup! She bought another bed frame again! For the record, she acquired 2 bed frames already. But I think this rustic purchase will be her last for this year. Why? Well, she confirmed it to me and told me that she fell deeply in love with the new bed frame. Lol! Well, I think that’s a good sign for the family, at least she won’t spend another dollar again for unnecessary wants. Lol!

I’m currently on search for yoga socks that my sister in law needs. Yup, you heard it right, my sister in law Gail is currently into yoga class lately. Since she came home from Canada, she immediately enrolled herself to a yoga and relaxation class that her longtime friend recommended. One of the reasons why she went home here was to distress herself from the pressures she got while working in Canada. We got direct tv Sunday ticketa while back because my husband apparently really wanted to watch the Super Bowl this year. He’s a huge Giants fan and this was way before we knew they’d make it to the big game so now I’m really glad we did but there’s been a bit of an unexpected side effect in this whole thing. I have actually become obsessed with wedding showsin the last few months and I can’t tell anyone because it’s so embarrassing! We have a daughter who is only 4 but I’ve already started buying wedding magazines for her because I can’t get out of my head what it would be like to plan a dream wedding. My husband and I eloped so I never had the big wedding we’d been wanting but you know, at the end of the day I feel like if anyone knew I was doing this they would think I was crazy. It’s not okay to plan a fairytale wedding.

I love being single but it’s mostly because I can travel and not have to worry about people (like girlfriends) getting all worked into a bunch because I like to travel ALONE. I know some people think it’s weird but for me it’s all about self-exploration and I can’t do that if I have someone else tagging along who’s got their own itinerary to manage. So anyway, I went to http://www.satellitestarinternet.com/hughesnet_compare_to_dialup.html and got internet for the house so I could start researching my next trip and I think I’ve decided on Thailand. It seem so spiritual and I absolutely love Thai food so it’s going to be a win win all around! I can’t wait to get there and just start wandering – that’s how you find out the most about yourself, getting lost in a big city and just seeing where the day takes you. I’m a young, able bodied man so I don’t really worry about anything which makes for the most freeing of trips.

Sorry fellas I haven’t been answering all your messages and comments. I had been pretty busy lately. I am extremely swamped searching Calgary Apartments for my friends because they are moving in Calgary Alberta with her in-laws. I am pretty sure they can find a very nice to live and work. For me preparing to move into a new place is an extremely exciting and you can meet a new friends and moving into a new residence begins a new chapter in living with vast experiences ahead.

Anyway, I Just had a delicious dinner prepared and cooked by my baby ( I’m talking about my husband hehe)... He made us chicken adobo, fried tilapia and coconut juice. Now I'm so full and were gonna go mall later. We also had an amazing time with our friends yesterday they visit us. I'm glad they all like the foods i made. *Wink*

I love animals, always have, so when I finally got my own place I decided to adopt a ton of them. I got three dogs right off the bat and I’ve slowly accumulated 3 cats, too – my house is literally a zoo! I take really good care of them all and I’ve even gone to http://www.homesecuritysystem.com/home-security-solutions to get an alarm to make sure they’re safe while I’m out. I’ve got the whole big backyard fenced in which is really nice for them to run around and I spend a lot of money each month on the best dog food I can find. The cats are easier because they more or less take care of themselves but you know, I really have been thinking lately that I might want a tropical bird or two. I don’t know why but for some reason I’m convinced getting a bird would make me much happier – although I have no clue how to care for a rare bird. I don’t even know where to go about getting one!

Got too tired the whole day I am extremely swamped.

Wow 98 days to go before Christmas and I’m so excited for our yearly Christmas party with my family and close relatives. So last night while waiting my hubby to arrive from work I make a gift list for my family, friends and to my one and only son. I need to officially start my Christmas shopping lol! I know shopping become busier as December approaches that's why its better to shop early.

Since I discovered online shopping, I have always been bust! LOL. When I visit online shopping and glimpse a SALE item is just too hard to resist, don’t you agree? I love shopping.

One thing that I'm really excited this coming Christmas my best friend is getting married. I know one of the most vital times in a man and woman life is when they get married. Just like me one of the most happiest moment in my life when I met my husband and we've got married. Preparing for a big day is a memorable and fun.
